Back pain: Do you have scoliosis ( s curve) of spine? Injury? Sound like musculoskeletal or disc related though you are young for disc (unless you do gymnastics or back pain from any vigorous sport ). Try motrin if not allergic, warm compresses kinesiotape on area PT,cushion on seat and follow up with doc , May need MRI Go to ER if numbness, weakness, difficulty with urination ...Read more

Many possibilities: It could be one of the many things possibly going on such as acute bursitis, housemaid's knee, meniscal or ligament tera etc. A lot depends on what you did the day before. If pain is on the back of thigh upon lying, it could be popliteal bursitis. You may want to wear a knee sleeve/brace and use ice and naprosyn (naproxen). See your doctor if not better. ...Read more
