Maybe supraspinatus: The muscle in your upper shoulder blade is your supraspinatus. Pain there can be from injury to the muscle, impingement to its tendon (the rotator cuff) or from irritation to the nerve that goes to the muscle. Scapula: Did you perform heavy exercise? It may be that you strained the muscles supporting the scapula. The pain going to the arm is due to radiation from the scapular area. Pinched nerve: A pinched nerve can cause neck pain headaches, and pain or numbness running into the arm. There are other potential causes, however, and so it would be good to just get a regular check up to make sure it is nothing else. An MRI can confirm the diagnosis. Need exam: Your symptoms suggest cubital tunnel syndrome ( ulnar nerve entrapment @ elbow) but a thorough history and physical exam is required to confirm. Supraspinatus( rotator cuff) injuries can occasionally present as you describe but this would be unusual.
