Possibly IBS: You possibly have a condition called irritable bowel syndrome, but i can't be sure since I do not know how long have you had this. Irritable bowel is a very common illness and occurs more often in female. Gerd typically causes "heartburn" symptoms and you should get some relief with pepcid/tums/prilosec etc.. GERD: is a "finding" by studies (X RAY.....GASTROSCOPY) and may be completely ASYMPTOMATIC! Thus your pain is NOT explained by GERD but the normal studies should be encouraging! Try baking soda : This is an inexpensive remedy to neutralize acid. Also, avoid foods an drinks that make it worse, and avoid eating too close to bedtime. If i persists, an you can't afford lifelong medication, consider a stretta procedure or even a nissen fundoplication (surgery). These cost more up front, but less in the long run. ...Read more

Gastritis: May be complicated by H pylori a bacteria associated with GERD/ gastritis. Also may have ulcer or gastroparesis -( slowling of emptying-do you have diabetes? ).
