What could be causing my 6 year old's pupils to stay dilated? He has extreme light sensitivity. Pupils eventually dilate, but very slowly.
Pupils dilated: Consider a toxic ingestion of a medication or poison. If he is acting otherwise normal then perhaps not likely, but if he had any other symptoms, such as altered mental status, vomiting, fever, etc then urgent medical attention may be warranted.
