Bright red, itchy vagina. Skin peels, bumps, hurts. Small cuts. Never been sexually active. 14 years old?
I have an itchy vagina and anus. Raw red skin around anus and red raised bumps around both. Scabies?? Small tear around anus from being constipated.
Yeast infection?: The most common cause of such symptoms is candidiasis (yeast infection, thrush). If so, it seems more severe than average. Herpes might be possible if you are sexually active. Scabies rarely occurs in these locations, but might be possible if you have typical scabies elsewhere (hands, elbows, waist, etc). Most likely a yeast: Infection, could be bacterial or allergic or herpes or other causes, if u were my pt in coral springs, fl I would do an exam and cultures for yeast bact and herpes and most likely start treating u for yeast until I get the cultures back and u can take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) which should not hurt anything to help with some of the symptoms. ...Read more
Yeast vs BV or..: Itching in the inside of you private is often caused by yeast (candida vaginitis) or bacterial vaginitis (bv), or some chemical irritation--maybe from tampon use etc. Std such as trichomonas/herpes, chlamydia, and gonorrhea can cause itching as well. Depends: When you are saying swab, that doesn't exactly tell me what tests were done. Sometimes a swab means wet mount, a test that doctors do in there office, but that ma not be as accurate as other tests such as affirm (vaginal pathogen test). Also, a swab can be pap smear that doesn't detect sexually transmitted disease other than hpv, so I need to know what has been done to guide you further. ...Read more
I clean myself with soap and a shower puff and I have a really itchy vagina and have for three days, what is it? What can I do?
Allergic Reaction: It sounds like you are having an allergic reaction to the soap. First I would stop using anything to scrub down there since that could irritate it and second I would find a gentle soap that is hypoallergenic. A good soap is dove liquid soap.
