External Ear Concha Pain
Top of outer / external ear (concha area) itchy and wet? Nothing to do with ear canal or inner ear.
I get severe pain in my left ear, and can actually feel something begin to stick out on the lower concha. What is happening?!
Difficullt to say: I recommend you see your primary doc or an ENT specialist. While your symptoms may be directly related to your ear, other issues in the head and neck can cause pain to refer to your ear.
Sudden onset of sharp throbbing pain 24 hrs. Ago in the concha of my lef outter ear, same pain 1 hr. Later on left side of my head near the crown.?
Sinus or tooth....: Given the short description of symptoms, several possibilities come to mind. You could have an ear or sinus infection that is referring pain to your tooth. Or you could have toothache that is referring pain to your ear. Best to see your md or dds to rule out either or both. An xray of your tooth is needed.See 1 more doctor answer

Ear pain: The lump on one side MAY be a sebaceous cyst but the fact that the other ear is also involved suggests the POSSIBILITY of an infection. Please see your doctor to clear this up ASAP. Peace and good health.

I have big pimple in my ear on my concha it was filled with pus but popped and blood and pus came out and then the next day it filled with pus again?
Any piercing?: This sounds like a deeper infection than a pimple. Did you have a piercing there? The bursting and simple drainage was not enough so a medical professional should examine your ear for foreign particles, and deep infection it could require lancing drainage and antibiotic.
Big pimple in my ear, on the concha. It popped and pus, yellow stuff/blood came out. Now it's refilling with pus again.
See ENT or derm: Either an ear Dr or a skin Dr will numb this and scrape away the offending tissue. Probably will be cauterized with ferric subsulfate and heal in 1 or 2 weeks.

The first source for help is your doctor who did the operation. Headaches are not uncommon if your nasal passages are blocked.
You may use Tylenol (Paracetamol) for the time being till you get hold of your doctor.
I had an onset of a sharp, throbbing pain in the concha of left ear and in a larger area 3 inches above left ear, 48 hoursago. There is no tooth pain and fever. What should I do?
See your MD: First go to your primary care physician for a regular check up, he will refer you to an ent (ear, nose and throat) specialist or a neurologist to determine if it is a muscle related issue or nerve issue, also a visit to your dentist to make sure there is not an impacted wisdom tooth causing all this trouble.See 3 more doctor answers
Have bilateral concha bullosa on left, hypertrophied right inferior turbinate, deviated nasal septum.2 swollen nodes on front nd bck of right ear. Why?
Anatomy: Concha bullosae are enlarged middle turbinates, which is a variant type of anatomy, causing nasal obstruction. Enlarged inferior turbinates also cause difficulty breathing. A deviated septum is a crooked divider between the right and left nostrils, also causing difficulty breathing. Swollen nodes might be a reaction to a recent or chronic infection. See an otolaryngologist for evaluation.
Outer ear auricle: At one time in our development, the outer ear used to be as big as an elephant's auricle. Only kidding. The purpose of all of the structures of the outer ear are to funnel sound waves down the canal towards the eardrum. A equally good question is why do we have ear wax to clutter the entire system up?
Itchy ear: An itchy ear can have many causes. You may have dry skin, be reacting to something that's touching your ear or it could be a discrete skin condition like eczema or psoriasis. A fungal infection is also possible. I suggest that you see your doctor to examine your ear (s) to see if there are discrete lesions/ rash or color change noticeable. In the mean time, try not to scratch your ear.
