Yes and no: All drugs must have an expiry date on them. That means the maker knows the drug will deliver the dose stated on the package. After that date the dose may or may not be as stated. I said yes and no because if it just 3 or 4 months outdated it should be ok but longer than that you should not use it. Well : Well first don't ' take any more penicillin type drugs and be sure your doctor knows you have a likely drug allergy. If you aren't having any wheezing or lung symptoms and you are feeling ok except for a little itching , then Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25 mg every 6 hours will make you comfortable and by tomorrow you should be fine. If you have swelling of the throat, wheezing, worsening rash or chest pain etc you should see a doctor asap. Most severe penicillin allergies happen very quickly after you take them though so i bet you'll be fine. Good plan with old unused drugs is toss them away when you haven't used them up.
