I said yes and no because if it just 3 or 4 months outdated it should be ok but longer than that you should not use it. That drug may be used for critical infection whereas an outdated tylenol (acetaminophen) is not a critical drug. ...Read more

Well : Well first don't ' take any more penicillin type drugs and be sure your doctor knows you have a likely drug allergy. If you aren't having any wheezing or lung symptoms and you are feeling ok except for a little itching , then Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25 mg every 6 hours will make you comfortable and by tomorrow you should be fine. If you have swelling of the throat, wheezing, worsening rash or chest pain etc you should see a doctor asap. Most severe penicillin allergies happen very quickly after you take them though so i bet you'll be fine. Good plan with old unused drugs is toss them away when you haven't used them up. Mix them in cat litter or coffee grounds and toss in the garbage rather than flush them down the toilet. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Better re-visit his: Pediatrician. If infection is present, give all of the new prescription as directed. None should be left in the bottle at the end if treatment.
