Difficult to answer: Depends on your age, menopause, you hormone levels from your ovaries. Even without a uterus your body still reacts a same way to hormones which would involve lubrication. If this is less than before friction could cause minor cuts or microscopic lacerations that could explain a little bit of bleeding. LITTLE BIT, if its is significant then check with your GYN. POD: I assume that you are referring to polycystic ovarian disease? Ithink you must have a thorough physical and pelvic exam, a transvaginal us, full blood and urine workup to include hgba1c and a gtt. Metformin is currently the drug of choice if you have pod. Antispasmodics will help with cramping as will nsaids. Seek gyn evaluation-asap and thyroid evaluation in addition to the above mentioned tests. ...Read more

I have had endometriosis symptoms return after total hysterectomy (have ovaries). I know estrogen feeds it. I am 46, terrible pain, have monthly "periods". Is this normal six years after hyst?
