I am wondering about advocare. I went to a mixer tonight and I am curious on if this option would be a healthy addition to my exercise regimen.?

Not sure: It depends on what you would be taking, and how you would be using the products. You can most likely buy the different vitamin formulations and energy bars at your local health food store. I've seen several nutritional multi-level marketing companies like this over the years. People usually pay quite a bit by the time they are done. You can get good nutritional supplements on your own. ...Read more

Been hearing a lot about coffee scrubs to tighten skin & reduce cellulite. Thoughts? Exercise & diet are just not working. Desperate for another option

Been hearing a lot about coffee scrubs to tighten skin & reduce cellulite. Thoughts? Exercise & diet are just not working. Desperate for another option

If you think so, OK.: There's no proof that coffee scrubs (or any scrub) has any prolonged, lasting medical effect. It may be a waste of money in that regard. However, if you can afford it, & if you don't experience any harm in it, then I see no problem with going ahead. But keep up diet & exercise for 30 min each day. That's the only proven way to keep healthy. See a dermatologist if cosmetic symptoms persist. ...Read more

I'm a 45 year old male and recently I started a plant based diet and exercise routine. I've lost 22lbs. Is whey protein a good option? I have high BP.

No harm: You do not need a protein supplement, but it will not do any harm, in moderation. If you are mostly on a plant based diet (Whey protein is not plant based) you should take vitamin B12 and D3 supplements. Limit your intake of salt. It would be prudent to see a doctor to ascertain if your high BP should be treated with medication.
Wish you good health! ...Read more

CRPS in left foot- on various meds, unable to exercise, weight gain horrible. SCS a good option? Be able to come off all meds eventually with SCS?

Not likely: I can't recall any patient who has been able to stop all pain meds - or in some cases, even cut back on them - thanks to a SCS. That's unrealistic. A SCS is ALWAYS an adjunctive therapy for pain control. It provides additional pain relief when meds aren't enough. ...Read more

How do you feel about raspberry ketones and/or green coffee bean for weight loss/control with/without healthy diet/exercise? I am weighing options.

Diet Fads: I like the plan you have: diet (meaning low calorie, high protein diet) and exercise. This is the only true way to good weight loss that is real and permanent.
