Lost 35 lbs and did not lose a full pant size. Why? Cannot do weight bearing exercise. Did indoor walk w/cardio, weights and low impact leg exercises.

Reduce high impact: Your commitment to regular exercise is great, but you need to do more cross training. Your knee strain pain will likely improve with less high impact. Alternate days with cardio and weight training. Weight training can be very helpful in weight loss and control.
