Pinched Nerve/Muscle: Most times back pain that is sudden onset will resolve. You should use anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen, aleve around the clock and even tylenol to help. If this does not resolve you should see doctor for a muscle relaxant as well. If it still does not resolve, i would recommend seeing a spine specialist for a full evaluation and testing. More info needed...: I'm not sure what kind of knee surgery you had, but there's always the possibility of complications with any surgery. If you had a ligament repair, it's possible that ligament could have torn again. If a piece of your meniscus broke off, it could be locking your knee and preventing you from flexing it all the way. I recommend seeing the doctor that performed your surgery to get it checked out. ...Read more

My joints have excruciating pain. When i bend my knees and elbows it is more intense. My RA test is fine.
Get it checked out: There are many other causes of joint pain besides rheumatoid arthritis. And not everyone with RA has a positive test. If this pain is persisting you need further evaluation.
