Need better sleep: Yawning, first of all, is suggestible, so it sometimes can come from thinking about it or seeing other people's yawning. More commonly, though, spontaneously, it is the result of drowsiness, fatigue. Perhaps you are not getting adequate sleep or adequately restful sleep. Here's a good article http://www. Localhealth. Fatigue & other: Yawning is a normal response to fatigue and drowsiness, but excessive yawning can be caused by a vasovagal reaction. This reaction is caused by the action of a nerve, called the vagus nerve, on the blood vessels. It may indicate a heart problem, or a disorder associated with excessive daytime sleepiness. Consult physician to rule out heart problem.
I am having episodes of excessive yawning (ie. 10 yawns in 2 minutes). This has been happening for 6 months. Should I be concerned?
Yawning: There are numerous explanations for why yawning occurs. "excessive" yawning has been described in patients with diabetes, brain illnesses, and other conditions, although these associations have not been subjected to rigorous controlled studies or clear determinations of why they happen. Maybe you are just very sleepy or bored. If all else ok, would not worry. Good luck.
I am yawning excessively, but they are unfinished. I only do a half of yawn which is unsatisfying and results in another a few seconds later.
Not a disease: What you described is not a disease, just a variation on normal life. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
Excessive Yawning and Constant Need to Breathe Deep.....get worst when am eating........ what's wrong?
Yawning: When eating, blood supply is diverted in part away from the brain and into the intestinal area which may result in drowsiness or even yawning.Unless your abdomen becomes distended, You're probably focusing on your breathing too much as it should be more of an involuntary process. If you notice shortness of breath with exertion, then you should be evaluated by your physician for lung and heart caus

Could you tell me about the right diagnosis on the following symptoms I have? SUDDEN CHEST PAIN EXCESSIVE YAWNING after pain DISCOMFORT at the chest
Complicated: It sounds like a complicated condition, as the pattern of pain (after yawning) does not immediately resonate with me. Ludwig's angina normally requires additional symptoms like a recent infection, fever, etc. Perhaps u could consider an extended consultation on HealthTap Prime, where a doctor can ask more questions in real time. They can help pinpoint a diagnosis. Thanks for ur question.
Improper heartbeats. Excessive yawning. Headache. Not getting good sleep.. What could be problem with my body?
I am experiencing excessive yawning and excessive thirst, with no lifestyle changes to explain these symptoms. Should I be concerned?
Fatigue and thirst: Are you losing or gaining weight? Your not peeing all the time r u? Let's say it's not super high blood sugar, do you snore a lot? Could you have sleep apnea? In the absence of getting dehydrated and peeing like crazy it's hard to put those together in my mind. You may wanna go see your doc but look up sleep apnea. I think your ok but the daytime sleepiness could be a seperate issue.
Shortness of breath with excessive yawning. Feels as though I can not take a deep enough breathe to get enough oxygen.?

Recently I noticed I have been yawning excessively. I am a runner but haven't been pushing myself too hard. I also seem to be a little short of breath but it hasn't affected my running yet. What might this be?
See your doctor.: Make sure that you're getting enough sleep but that seems rather obvious for the yawning. Anything that causes you to be short of breath especially with exertion needs a thorough workup with your physician. Contact your physician for evaluation of shortness of breath.See 1 more doctor answer
