Should I consume tinospora cardifolia concentrate, as in 2010 I was diagnosed with itp and vitamin B12 deficiency? Does the herb has side effects?

ITP: You really should discuss this with your hematologist who treated your itp and/or whomever follows you for this condition. I cannot personally recommend you to take an "herbal concentrate" since it is not monitored by the fda and side effects have been reported. ...Read more

My doc says im aneamic and has prescribed me dexorange syrup it has iron folic acid and vitamin B12 but im afraid will it giv me any side effects?

Anemia treatmemt: Other than possible constipation, caused by iron, the syrup (s) your physician (p) prescribed will give harmless. Ask your p what you folate, (folic acid) iron and B12 values are. If they are normal, you will gain nothing by the s. Anemia can come from blood loss, either by GI or menstrual losses. If you iron (i) level is low, and you eat meat, consider one of those as the cause of your anemia. ...Read more

Vitamin B12 pills benefits and side effaces??

Take only if needed: If you are vitamin B12 defecient, then a B12 supplement can help with anemia and nerve function. If you are not B12 defecient, the it will not help. Overdosing of Vitamin B12 can cause nerve dysfunction, diarrhea, and other side effects. My general advice is that if you do not have a vitamin defeciency, the a general multivitamin once daily is all that you need. ...Read more

What is the name of the disorder of the liver could result in excess vitamin B12 in the body?

Cirrhosis: Cirrosis, chronic hepatitis, may cause artifically elevated B12 as the liver store vit B12 and also prodcue the proteins that bind vit B12 in the blood. If the liver is sick, it can not produce the binding proteins and when measured vit B12 appears as it is elevated, as only the un-bound form of vit B12 is measured. ...Read more

Is Amway Nutrilite daily tablets have any side effect like stone in kidney?? Is tablet supply sufficient qyt of vitamin B12 to body??

Loss of $: The contents of the pill you are taking are not clearly defined. In any case, you are probably not doing yourself any favor by taking an expensive food supplement. If you are deficient in B12, injections of the vitamin would be indicated. If you are not deficient you are just wasting your money.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

I have severe vitamin b12, d deficiency and at same time has excess production of sebum on scalp. Is both are related?? And any other mineral for it??

Unrelated: There is no direct relationship or association I am aware of between seborrhea (what you have) and B12 deficiecy. You are very young for being so B12 deficient. Do you not like LIVER, SALMON, TROUT, CLAMS, or BEEF? A mineral put into shampoos is selenium but I find that has variable effects. Check with a dermatologist for more information...and fix your B12 status...VERY IMPORTANT! ...Read more

I have a vitiligo and I am taking 1000mcg vitamin b12, 800mcg folic acid, 300mg a-lipoic acid and taking daily sunlight, does all these hav any side eff?

I have a vitiligo and I am taking 1000mcg vitamin b12, 800mcg folic acid, 300mg a-lipoic acid and taking daily sunlight, does all these hav any side eff?

All very safe: Vits. B12, Folic Acid and Alpha Lipoic Acid are all very safe without side effects. B12 and a-lipoic acid are in many foods. Folic acid is actually synthetic but we covert it folate, found in food. About half of people have trouble converting folic acid to folate so you might be better off taking the L-5-MTHF form of folate.

Many: The obvious answer is that B12 injections are a quick way to fix a deficiency. Instead, the cells of the upper ⅔ of the stomach which secrete hydrochloric, hcl, acid also produce & secrete a protein, called intrinsic-factor, which binds b12.
