Sounds good: So good, in fact, that if this is what you want to drink, drink it and don't even worry whether this is our idea of a perfect ideal beverage choice. Unrelated: Hi. Inclusion or exclusion of salt has no bearing on weight loss (unless food addiction involves salty foods!). There is no weight loss program I'm aware of that tells you to eat salt. I work out in the am, eat healthy, only drink water/tea. I wake up with a flat stomach but am extremely bloated as day goes on. Any idea why?
Weight Loss: I applaud you for eating healthy, for that is a great start. Be sure that in addition to healthy foods you are practicing portion control. Also, change up the types of exercise you are doing to lose weight. Cardio (running, biking, swimming) will help burn some fat while you exercise, but make sure to build muscle too. A few ideas: It might be genetic. Age contributes, too. Also, do you watch your sodium? Many healthy foods are high in sodium. Check labels. Max of 2000mg a day. Practice belly breathing can sometimes lower your blood pressure. Make sure you get enough sleep and not stressed out. In addition, you should ask your doctor to check secondary causes of hypertension, such as thyroid or renal problems.

Healthy vs '/calorie: Eating 'healthy" does not mean you are not overeating. 100 calories are 100 calories whether it was whole wheat bread or white bread. Calorie intact cannot be more than calories burned if you are wanting to lose weight. On the other hand, endocrine disorders, thyroid being only one, can make it almost impossible to lose weight.

The simplest: Formula I can give you is eat only "god made" food for that is the "fuel" for which we were designed----not easy in this day and age and good food is expensive but you might be surprised at the money that millions are putting into "junk" on the grounds of expense.

So if you're feeling amphibious, it's a great way to get moving. But most of all, choose exercise that will be fun for you. If you're not inclined to swim, that's okay. 'Obamacare', insurance payments, doctors not choosing to build a solo practice are among these. I need a one week food diary (you can find any of a number of tools online for this) with the total calories you consume and what type of calories they are. Then I need the specifics of your exercise. What your activity is, for how long and what your heart rate is.

Yes: Mds and dos are trained in clinical medicine with basic science background. Phds are trained in basic science and clinical research, not the practice of medicine. There is a long educational process and art to clinical medicine. They study the same disease processes but work on different aspects. Phds work on the science and theory. Mds/dos work on using this knowledge to treat people.

Unlikely a problem: I think there are benefits to dark chocolate in many respects and certainly in the naturpathic medicine fields. Overall if your weight is good, you don't have diabetes or high blood pressure, and you don't smoke and your cholesterol is good, there shouldn't be much of a problem with that.
