I keep having a pain in my groin every time I sneeze or cough too hard. My gynecologist says its just ovulatory pain, but I have it all month long. Could I be pregnant?

Possibly.: The way you describe your symptoms sounds like an inguinal (groin) hernia to me. It's also possible you may be pregnant but I don't think you can link your symptoms to being pregnant or not. Your gynecologist would be in a good position to help you sort this out. ...Read more

I just got my period four days ago and every time I sneeze or cough my uterus twitches (there is 0 pain). My period has not been as heavy as it usual. What could this be from? Could I be pregnant and it's actually just implantation bleeding?

I just got my period four days ago and every time I sneeze or cough my uterus twitches (there is 0 pain). My period has not been as heavy as it usual. What could this be from? Could I be pregnant and it's actually just implantation bleeding?

Likely a period, but: Wait. A positive pregnancy test can tell a woman that prior spotting was actually implantation spotting. It is hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have been) or 1 week after starting a "weird" period. ...Read more

Chest wall problem: Hi. There is not enough information here to really guess at a cause. I wish we knew your age; that helps make some more or less likely. See doctor: There are many potential causes for your problem but asthma and/or allergic rhinitis (hay fever) with or without sinus infection would be the 3 most likely ones. If you are a smoker, stop it immediately. If you are not, consider seeing an allergist. A lung function test is a must. Do note that most cases of chronic cough are caused by more than a single disease entity. ...Read more

Every time I cough or sneeze I'm unable to control my bladder & lose urine it's been goin on for bout 2 weeks now. Should I be concerned?

Stress incontinence: Stress incontinence has nothing to do with emotional stress. Rather, it is the stress of abdominal contraction with cough or sneeze where the increase in pressure in the abdomen overcomes the bladder sphincter, causing release of urine. For now, be sure not to close your mouth when you cough or sneeze (increases intaabdominal pressure but do cover your mouth). Go to ur dr for further workup. ...Read more
