Maybe: Esophageal bleeding could theoretically come out the mouth or the nose, which could look like a nose bleed. Depending on the cause of the esophageal bleeding (ie a bleeding disorder?), that could predispose you to nose bleeds. Severe nose bleed: Nosebleeds are common. However, severe bleeding is not and be a cause for concern. It : It is certainly not normal to have nosebleeds daily. Most nosebleeding situations should resolve with a few days unless there are other underlying problems. Some of these predisposing conditions include deficiency of clotting factors, high blood pressure resulting in rupture of the vessels, trauma to the nasal membranes, sinus disease, vascular lesions, or rarely tumors of the nasal passages. Your husband's condition should be evaluated by an ENT specialist promptly. Besides treating any underlying condition, prolonged bleeding can lead to anemia which can then lead to other complications. ...Read more

Epistaxis : 80% of people experience this in their lives. A common cause is dry, hot air in the western US, causing nasal dryness and crusting. The nasal tissue cracks and bleeds easily. Treatment includes humidification in bedroom, nasal saline sprays & sometimes vaseline in the nose. It's not a major health hazard, but should an ENT doctor who can better evaluate. See your Dr.: Any positive benefit of taking a baby Aspirin daily would be outweighed by the bleeding that you have. Check with your doctor to make sure that there isn't something else that could be contributing to the nasal bleeding. Most people don't bleed on that low of a dose so have it checked. ...Read more

See a doctor: Frequent or chronic nosebleeds are a problem. They may be associated with the migraines, as migraines are thought to induced by blood flow issues, but regardless they should be addressed. If you have a migraine doctor, see her/him. If not, see your physician. Either should be able to point you in the right direction for proper diagnosis of the cause of the nose bleeds. ...Read more
