Gloves, ventilation,: Ethyl acetate gets into one's body when he breathes it in or when it absorbs into his skin. The vapors can also irritate the eyes. Exposure to higher levels can cause him to feel dizzy, lightheaded, or pass out. Repeated skin contact can cause skin dryness or cracking. Long-term exposure can affect his liver and kidneys. At age 35... How effective is megestrol acetate in treating endometrial hyperplasia...What are problem side effects....What about ability to conceive?
Good after treatment: Remember you're being treated for a pre-cancerous lining of the uterus. Simple hyperplasia is treated with megestrol to prevent proliferation (growth) to a more aggressive type which may require hysterectomy. If all works well, your gyn can clear you for pregnancy. Tough in <400 char: Topical cream & transdermal patches for hormone (replacement) therapy appear to be safer than oral. However, it appears that some of the issues over the last decade re HRT may be due to progestin used, eg medroprogesterone acetate (mpa) or provera. Betamethasone: Betaderm is a brand of betamethasone sold in UK. Depending upon formulation (acetate vs dipropionate vs valerate), it's potency ranges from medium-low to high potency. We typically don't recommend high potency for use on face unless monitored closely by Dermatologist given risk for side effects (hopefully none if only 3wks use). Terrible: Lupron causes reversible menopause. So as soon as the medicine takes effect the estrogen drops to zero same as complete menopause. Hot flashes, night sweats, moods, memory issues and joint pain etc. Many dr.S use this for endometriosis but endo is a surgically treated disease.
