Various: It really depends on the symptoms the Estrace cream is being used to treat. Natural oils such as olive oil, over the counter replens, a broken open vitamin e capsules can all provide lubrication. Use of low dose Estrace cream isn't associated with any serious risks. ...Read more

Post Hysterctomy?: If you had your ovaries out with a hysterectomy then talk to your md about changing your hormone pill to another modality such as patch, cream, gel, etc. Also, make sure your thyroid gland is functioning properly with a blood test. You need to ask your: Liver transpalnt doc or the doc who is taking care of u know that ?, you are right 90%+ would stay in the vagina, but they would have to decide if the 10% of the small dose is too much to go into your circulation. ...Read more

No, but: It might be uncomfortable. If you are taking oral Estrace (estradiol) or using a patch and you stop suddenly, you may have a lot of hot flashes, night sweats, and possibly some mood instability. If you are using Estrace (estradiol) vaginal cream, you would be less likely to have these symptoms, but still might to a lesser extent. It is not dangerous to stop suddenly however. ...Read more
