Essential Oil For Muscle And Tendon Soreness
The outside of my foot feels sore/tight (Anterior and Inferiorly to the ankle), (could be the tendon/muscle..) Any idea what could it be?
Sore foot: Ms. Pierce: with little details to work on, it is hard to say. Are you a runner? Any previous injury to foot? Does it feel like "pins and needles?" It could be a mild inflammation of the fascia, but hard to say. Try a few days of aspirin or Motrin. I always recommend warm heat pads for a few days to see if any benefit. If not, you might want to consult an orthopedic provider. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
It is a body tissue that has the ability to contract. It shortens and generates force. It relaxes and returns to its original length. Many Possibilities: Prolotherapy typically by itself will cause ligaments to tighten up, usually due to scarring or fibrosis of the ligaments. However now prolotherapy is used to introduce new blood supply to the area and then many times following it with the prp and/or stem cells in the area can repair the tissue/ligaments by the hopes that the stem cells regenerate the same normal tissue type. What can cause high blood cortisol but normal urine cortisol? My skin and hair is dry thinning muscle tendon soreness fatigue.
Many possibilities: There is a diurnal variation for cortisol levels, so levels in the morning are typically higher than in the evening. Cortisol is bound to a protein in the blood stream. High levels of this protein, such as seen in liver disease can cause high blood levels with normal urine levels. ...Read more
I've a tuberoisty fracture (5th meta) wk 3 now, I tried light WB, all ok, what other tendons/muscles can get injured near the toes? It's sore there to
Can you explain my sudden hip pain. It is related more to the muscles and tendons i think as when i lie on my right side or rub it feels tender?
Is it possible to have an injury to the hamstring muscle(s) or tendon(s) without bruising that would feel tender and like a bulge when touching it?
I tore a tendon/ muscle on my left foot. Had gone for treatments. Foot still feels tender when I stand or walk. How long before foot heals.
Depends: How long it takes a tendon/muscle injury (sprain, strain, etc.,) to heal depends on how serious the injury is. Since you have needed therapy, then the injury is not a minor one. It is also more noticeable because the injury occurred on your foot, which you have to use to walk. (An injured little finger, is easier to deal with, since you don't have to use it as often). Your Doc can tell you best. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Tendons/muscle on lateral side of forearm near the elbow spasm, swell, hurt and is tender. X-ray and ultrasound show nothing is wrong. What may it be?
Tennis elbow?: Might be inflammation at the origin site of the extensor tendons on the lateral epicondyle of the elbow. Ultrasound and xray would be normal; an MRI would likely show some edema/swelling there in the form of increased t2 signal, but this expensive test may not be necessary. You may just need some rest, ice, and possibly anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen. See doctor though if it continues. ...Read more

Varying degrees: Think of the severities you listed as a continuum. - if you have bicep soreness following any increase in your normal level of activitiy, then you likely strained the muscle fibers. A strain itself can be of varing degrees & in the most severe cases a "tear" may result. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
