Escitalopram Oxalate Lexapro
Possibly: Lexapro (escitalopram) affects serotonin, a neurotransmitter in the brain that modulates mood as well as anxiety. Lowering the dose of Lexapro (escitalopram) could increase anxiety, especially if it was done too quickly. Please discuss this with your prescribing physician. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Can 20 mg Lexapro/60 Cymbalta/40 viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) be too much serotonin ..seem better on 10 lexapro?
Discuss w/ Dr: It's not exactly an issue of 'too much' serotonin, but except for that, you might be right to seek a consult about the dosages and perhaps even eliminate a Rx cautiously as possible. Please consider that adding CBT Tx optimizes outcomes w/ or w/out medication and makes good sense. Ask about a referral and dose reduction, etc. Best! ...Read more
Does any of these meds onterfere with calcium eing absorbed.Synthroid, buspar, zoloft, evista, adderall, lyrica, (pregabalin) voltaren, zocor, klonopin, lamictal, biotin?
Med interactions? Buspar, (buspirone) synthroid, clonazepam, trazodone, premerain, centrum silver, vit d and calcium? And atenolol at night.
Maybe!: 1. Consult with your treating physician to get a specific answer for your conditions. 2. A lot depends on the dose of the medications, when you take them, what you are taking them for, and how long you have been taking them. 3. If your thyroid replacement is not enough, you could have more side effects. 4. You may be completely fine if the medicines are done carefully. Talk to your doctor! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Zoloft (sertraline): All drugs have effects and side effects. Typically Zoloft (sertraline) and the other SSRI's cause insomnia (do not take before bedtime), but paradoxically, they can also cause somnolence, sleepiness and a feeling of the blahs- like your emotional spectrum is narrowed. Get a good psychiatric evaluation. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
I am on wellbutrin, ativan, atorvastatin, escitalopram, lisinopril, abilify (aripiprazole). Can i take propranolol for anxiety/bp?
Use a low dose: Both escitalopram and wellbutrin (bupropion) inhibit liver metabolism (which is how Propranolol is metabolized) and both will result is a stronger Propranolol effect. This will strengthen the effects of Propranolol so start with the smallest dose and monitor your blood pressure and heart rate. It may also make you tired. ...Read more
If by doctor's order: If you're taking these medications on doctor's order then, I cannot tell you NOT to take either one of them or any of them. But if what you're asking is whether or not it's SAFE to take ADDERALL (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) with all the other medications or whether or not it's really NECESSARY for to take ADDERALL (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) given the rest of the drugs you're taking then, that discussion should really be with your prescribing doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Paxil (paroxetine) for social anxiety? (Taking Prozac 40mg and it's not helping anxiety.)Can I take Paxil (paroxetine) with Ritalin? (Ritalin dose 5-10mg x 2-3 daily.)
Have tried pristiq, (desvenlafaxine) wellbutrin, paxil, celexa, effexor, lexapro, etc. With lithium, haliperidol &abilify. A couple improve mood. Still anxious!thoughts?
Many meds: You've tried many meds already, although there are some you haven't mentioned that often help anxiety: buspirone, beta-blockers, other mood stabilizers besides lithium, etc. But after a person has tried so many medications and still has symptoms, i'd suggest non-medication approaches: psychotherapy, mindfulness, relaxation training, exercise/yoga, etc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
It's ok to take coq-10 w everything i take right?Levothyroxine atenolol hctz Lexapro (escitalopram) Suboxone Vyvanse klonopin & ester-c?
Right: While there are potential interactions between a few of your medicines, the coq10 should not interact with lexapro, (escitalopram) suboxone, atenolol, hctz, klonopin, levothyroxin, and vyvanse. With hypertension and hyperlipidemia, you might want to consider a regular regimen of low-impact exercise (walking in the sunshine) and eating mostly foods with a low glycemic index. ...Read more
Lot of medications: I'm not sure whether these are all prescribed by the same physician? It sounds as though your bipolar disorder (from the additional info you supplied) may be quite hard to manage, and meds have been added but none removed. Perhaps you'd benefit from a second opinion about your case and possibly simplify your regimen. It could also be that your symptoms demand high intensity measures. ...Read moreSee 4 more doctor answers
Drug interactions with niacin atenolol vit c magnesium iron Zoloft (sertraline) melatonin and armour ?
Epocrates check: A quick check on my trusty med database program reveals 3 main negative interactions with those meds listed. Two of them are with armour. The armour interacts with both the iron and magnesium making the thyroid med less absorbed, so separate these vitamins from your armour by at least 4 hrs. The other major interaction is atenolol and niacin. Less cholesterol lowering effect and overlowering of bp. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
