Dangerous: You are overdosing. The starting dose of Concerta is 18 mg, not 54. The dose should not be increased any more frequently than every 7 days. I went to the ER for very high BP and bad headache/headpressure. Before I left, my readings were 146/94, 142/92 and 123/83. I was only given pain medicines at the er. Was BP the cause of the headache/head pressure?
