I've been having on and off pain for 8mts plus in my upper left corner, it radiates partly in the upper middle as well. Should I make a ER visit?

Looking at a calendar, i'd say you're about 10 weeks now (feb 12). Remember, the convention is "menstrual weeks", assuming a 28 day cycle. So if we say you are 10 weeks along, that is actually 8 weeks since conception. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I suspect an Iud perforation has occurred. I have an appt. on Thurs., but wonder if this is more urgent (i.e an expensive ER visit)?
Signs?: It's fairly rare (1/1,000) and usually w/ a new insertion. In any case, I'd hope the doctor could make a special appt if there is cause. Urge them politely but firmly. Warning signs include severe abdominal pain, heavy or abnormal bleeding, and a smelly vaginal discharge. Also, many ERs do offer help w/ bill if you need it lowered. Ask about it. It can lower anxiety for future possible needs.Best! ...Read more
