Get examined: Nothing in your history suggests you had an injury nor does it say u had your knee thoroughly examined... Follow your md's advice and in 2 wks if not improved w/protected weight bearing and an NSAID i would suggest seeing a board certified ors for a definitive diagnosis. Gl! ...Read more

Depends: how badly you sprained or tore the ligaments , ordinary X-rays may not show the soft tissue damage , if it is in USA , you already might have had MRI , when medicine is rationed as in UK , most likely done later if there is no improvement , although out comes become identical , except for anxiety . ...Read more

Im in extreme back pain. I went to the ER they said I have spraining lower muscles they gave me tylenol (acetaminophen) 3 and its not hellping I tried all home remedies what should I do help please?

ER useless re back: As a back patient & dr who specializes in treatment of back pain, i can tell you er is not where you go to get help for it.Could be muscle sprain, but more severe the pain, the more likely there is to be a bony/jt component-either vertebral locking, si jt dysf, or even ligment tear.Find a good osteopathic manipulative med dr.Good history & osteopathic exam will likely find cause.Manipulation may help. ...Read more
