Is an allergic inflammatory condition of the esophagus. Symptoms are swallowing difficulty, food impaction, and heartburn. The disease was first described in children but occurs in adults as well. The condition is not well understood, but food allergy may play a significant role.

See allergist: Dairy by far is the most common allergen implicated in EoE, you should consult an allergist instead of exposing yourself to dairy against your doctor's advice. There are other foods which are implicated in causing EoE and unfortunately we still don't have a good handle in pinpointing the culprit most of the time. ...Read more
