See below: Enthesis related JIA generally is active a good deal of childhood, teens and even into adulthood. Studies have shown however that 17 to 37% go into complete remission. It is felt it may be milder and more likely to go in to remission for girls than boys. This is also called spondyloarthropathy. No: There is no way to "outgrow" jra / jia. You have it for life. It can only be put into remission for periods of time from weeks to years, depending on what type of juvenile arthritis it is and how many joints were involved at the time of diagnosis.
