Possible lymphoma: The presence of lymph nodes that can be palpated in axilla would lead to evaluation of other sites as seen on CAT scan. It depends---: We need to know the medical history in terms of any symptoms/ medical complaints....especially why was your abdomen checked? what test did they use? US or CT scan. What was the size of the lymph nodes?. If the nodes are significant they will produce some symptoms. Then you should get repeat imaging studies done to see if the nodes get any larger or not. May or may not be!: Unless we know the size of the enlarged nodes, it is difficult to know what these nodes mean. You need to go see a specialist who can do further checking especially if you have any abdominal symptoms like pain, poor appetite, weight loss or fever.
