Normal chest X-ray & abdominal/pelivic CT scan, but positive TB skin test? I have low grade fevers, extreme fatigue & swollen lymph nodes. Tb?
My son is coughing and has enlarged lymph nodes. Two small ones on each side of his neck (for over 8 weeks) and a new one the size of a cherry pit.
Is it normal to have enlarged lymph nodes in the abdomen ? In a 12 year old? Was told that this something often seen in young girls?

Recent ultrasound of neck showed 3 abnormal but not enlarged lymph nodes. US of abdomen was normal as well as blood work for liver, kidneys and thyro?
Have Dr. monitor: Depending if the nodes are on only one side or large, hard or soft, pea-size or marble size will determine what your doctor will do to make sure that nothing dangerous is happening. Don't ignore: Hi. I assume the doc who ordered the CT had some list of possible problems she/he was looking for. Diffuse lymph node enlargement is concerning. Lymph node biopsy may be very helpful. 17 y/o post appendectomial ascites(small amounts), enlarged lymph nodes, fatigue, nausea(sometimes), mild abdominal pain, history of gastritis/ulcer?
