Three swollen cervical lymph nodes all on left side of neck some ear pain doctor HS seen one of them says wait 2 month fbc normal should I be worried?
Lymph nodes: The lymph nodes usually enlarge as response to an infection in the vicinity. It lasts maximum 2-3 weeks and as the infection goes away (with antibiotics usually) the lymph nodes disappear. Outside this scenario, I would be worried and demand further investigation (ct is appropriate, a blood smear and CBC with differential, as well as a bmp with enzymes markers analysis) up to an excision biopy.See 2 more doctor answers
Ultrasound says hypoechoic mass with essentric fatty hilum favoring an enlarged lymph node on left side of neck. What does that mean?
Probably benign node: When a mass is palpated in the neck it is usually abnormal and suggests a new, possibly metastatic lesion requiring bx and then therapy. If a hypoechoic mass is noted this is a solid lesion and with above description is a lymph node that is characterized by the fatty hilum. If lesion enlarges bx needed unless a primary lesion defined that may be causing nodal enlargement. Therapy then needed

To whom this may concern, my son has enlarged lymph nodes on one side of the neck and a significant amount of puss on 1 tonsil no throat pain.
Exudate: And lymph node enlargement is suggestive of an infectious process, likely viral. A throat culture could help you sort this out. Access is also a remote possibility, and would require immediate evaluation!

Swollen lymph nodes (2, one on left side of neck, one on right) since June 2015. Been to GP twice, tells me I'm OK both times. Trust my GP?
Yes trust your GP: Your GP was able to examine you. Trust your GP. Need to be reexamined if nodes are increasing in size, are painful or draining liquid.

Feels like two permanently swollen lymph nodes, just on left side of neck. One under jaw, other lower down neck. No pain, but always there. Reasons?
Cervical Lymph Nodes: Enlargement of the lymph nodes in the anterior chain of the neck can be a sign of active infection or occult disease. Non tender but enlarged lump nodes in the neck may be reacting to infections drainage from the head and neck including mononucleosis, &HIV disease. Lymphomas may present with non tender lymph node enlargement. Consider a head and neck exam and maybe antibiotics and needle biopsy.
I have had IBS for 5 years but for the last 3 months I have had dysphagia, swollen lymph nodes on right side of neck and sensation that some one is pu?
Sure, see GI doctor: Difficulty swallowing ("dysphagia") can be distinguished as a "transfer" problem (difficulty moving food from mouth to top of esophagus), "transit" problem (difficulty moving food down the esophagus), "spasm", gerd (due to sphincter problems), or obstructive (webs, rings, strictures, ulcer, tumor). Best to see a gastroenterologist (gi doctor) for evaluation and treatment.See 1 more doctor answer
Bumps on middle of forehead. Painful and itchy. Started as 5 or 6 small bumps and are now 2 big ones. Swollen lymph nodes on left side of neck/jaw.
Infection, shingles?: This sounds like a skin infection of some sort. It could be a bacterial infection (e.g. staph, strep, etc) but I'm more suspicious of herpes zoster (shingles). See a doctor ASAP. If bacterial, you'll need an antibiotic. If shingles, an antiviral drug (e.g. valacyclovir) needs to be started very soon to have maximum benefit.

You're probably fine: Most young adults have several palpable lymph nodes. They're your friends. If they're not massively enlarged, fixed to normal structures, growing rapidly, or rock-hard and you feel okay, you owe it to yourself to stop worrying and get on with your life.See 1 more doctor answer

I had lice for a long time, and my lymph node on back right side of neck is enlarged, lice is removed but lymph node is still swollen, why?
Just found a swollen lymph node on right side of neck, its sore now that I have bothered it. Should I worry? I have another small one on same side
Likely benign, but: The neck is a very common place for mild lymph node enlargements. We do about 5-6 lymph node biopsies a day-from the neck-and most of them are benign. However if rapid growth is noted, or if bigger than 3cm, or if other symptoms develop you need to have it checked. The most common cause of enlarged lymph nodes in the neck are a viral illness, a dental infection, skin infection and "other".See 1 more doctor answer
Billions of lice in head, can cause rubbery hard swollen lymph node on right side of neck for more than one month?
Yes: Lice is a parasite infection. As such, lymph node swelling is expected, especially with such a large infestation. Get the lice treated and if the glands don't go down in 2 weeks, then see your internist.
