Allergist or ENT: Your nasal symptoms can very well be due to the drugs you are on, lexapro, geodon (ziprasidone) or trazodone, all can cause dry mucus membranes hence dry nose, trazodone can cause nasal congestion too, when seen please mention that you're on those medicines, meanwhile, please keep using saline nasal wash liberally, for an allergist, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area, good luck, ...Read more

Yes and yes: Post nasal drip doesn't necessarily have anything to do with nasal blockage. And it can cause phlegm and throat clearing. Reflux can sometimes do similar things but most often while lying down. Try to sleep propped up to discourage this. ...Read more

Depends on location: If the symptom is high up in the throat then the tonsils can sometimes give this sensation. Lower down in the throat it could be from reflux or some other irritant.
