I have endometriosis and adenomyosis when I get these awful pelvic cramps they radiate to my right rib cage. Is that normal? Should I be worried?
Explainable: 33y w. flank pain while "endometriosis cramps". Endo a theoretical disorder & no definitive etiologically proof. I studied 100 cases; found joint hypermobility in most. IMO, pelvic girdle instability, enhanced by hormone Relaxin, arouses painful pelvic ligament stretch during menstrual cycle. Innate response to ligament strain is painful soft tissue spasm; latissimus & gluteus; after Dr. V. Mooney ...Read more
Does it still cause pain when having endometriosis even with no flow? Dr suspect it&I have pain all over abdomen (bladder, bowel, ovaries, kidneys, ribs)?
Pain on left side feels like trapped gas and it is felt on both lower and upper quadrants (low rib and underneath) Usually every few months after eating. Area hurts if pressed on. Could endometriosis or ovarian cysts be causing it?
Splenic flexure: The colon takes a sharp 90 degree turn under the left rib cage and this splenic flexure is the site of trapped gas at times. Applying heat to the abdomen and drinking hot water helps break down the gas enabling you to pass it. Taking simethicone after meals helps prevent gas build up. If these measures relieve your distress, it would rule out the other diagnoses. ...Read more

Yes, sadly: Endometriosis can cause back pain, nausea and stomach pain. However, you wouldn't want to miss something else that has to do with the gastrointestinal tract. I would write down your symptoms and when they occur and if they are triggered by eating or anything gastrointestinal. Then see a gynecologist and discuss your diary. Best of luck. ...Read more
