Test: Time to check a pregnancy test. This could just be PMS exacerbated by your skipped pills, but it may very well be you're pregnant from the same issue. ...Read more

Excision surgery: Continuous oral contraceptives will work better than having a monthly period. Pain should improve after the second or third pack. Alternatively, you could have extensive excision of endometriosis in which is possible to remove all visible disease . See a surgeon who does this type of surgery often and ask how his/her patients do. ...Read more

Dx w/ endometriosis. Tried multiple bc pills before this diagnosis for ovarian cysts and made bleeding & pain much worse. Will lupron (leuprolide) be similar? Wary of lup

Different: Lupron (leuprolide) gives you a (temporary) chemical menopause, thus no period. By not stimulating the ovaries the symptoms of endometriosis might improve. Bcp are also commonly used, also put the ovaries "at rest", but different mechanism. ...Read more
