Depends: I have had some patients who got better with time and some who got worse. Exercise always helpful for most conditions including endometriosis. Causes are still somewhat of a mystery. Hormone manipulation can help (BCP, Depo Provera, (medroxyprogesterone) Lupron) but some require surgery if severe. Best to discuss with your gyn provider. Sorry this was not more helpful. Post lap: Take a break and recover! wait for the allotted recovery period which is usually 6-8 weeks. Listen to your body and don't overdue it. Get back into your routine slowly or else u will set yourself back. ...Read more

Unlikely: Prometriun is Progesterone given to menopusal woman and other conditions like yours, and if want to gain weight sure way consume more calaries may be you are burning more than consuming , also see your doctor for any thyroid problem etc. Most of people problem is how to loose will trade with you any time. ...Read more

Generally: Biopsy is best but visual along with the typical symtpomatology is adequate. The most painful lesions, however, are not the most obvious & we can only see 65% of the endometriosis that may be present. ...Read more
