Im taking 100mg of minocycline for my cystic acne with minimal results. I also have terrible purple scars. Will Accutane help my cystic acne and scars?
Depends: Best treatment is individualized. For women it may be certain oral contraceptive pills or spironolactone. For very severe acne or acne resistant to initial therapy, oral isotretinoin is the most effective. Plan on several months of treatment to achieve desired result.
