Possibly...: This is a mod thickened endometrial stripe. This very well could be within your normal variability. If you are on any estrogen type med, even herbals it could cause thickening of the uterine lining & this. However, any thickening of the endometrial stripe needs to be taken seriously as this can be a sign of cancer & a bx may need to be done. Don't panic, but follow-up! Need more info to say why. ...Read more

Is this normal and what can I do to help if it's not 5.66×14.41×6.05 And endometrial echo complex 0.76?

Uterine mass?: It's hard to answer your question because I don't know what you're describing. My first guess is that you have a tumor in your uterus like a fibroid. Also, you describe a second mass in the endometrium that could be a polyp or a fibroid. Your first fibroid is large enough that it needs to be removed surgically if you're trying to conceive. If you're describing an ovarian mass then resubmit ur? ...Read more

What does endometrial cavity echo measures 9 mm in bilayer thickness mean?

It's a good thing!: They are measuring the lining inside the uterus (the lining is the stuff that comes out with your period). It is 9 mm's wide, which is normal for someone your age. There are 2 layers to the lining, one from the top wall and one from the bottom wall, so that is why they call it "bilayer". ...Read more

The uterus measures 10.7x5.5x7.8 cm. 2.1x2.4x2.3 cm intramural myoma in the lower uterine segment. The endometrial echo complex measures 9mm in thickn?

Endom/thickening: The measurements indicate mild uterine enlargement, and the endometrium is borderline in thickness. You did not provide your age, but this can occur in one's 40's and older, or rarely in younger age groups. Normal: Ovaries contain follicles. One of them becomes the dominant follicle and grows into an egg that is being released (monthly or so). If you take Clomid (clomiphene) or other medications to help you get pregnant (shots; superovulation) more follicles mature at the same time and you have an increased risk for multiple pregnancies. Pathology report says prominent thickened Endometrial lining at 1.5cm. Is this bad? What does it mean by prominent thickened endo lining?

There are a couple: Of ways to measure the thickness of the endometrial lining. By ultrasound or by endometrial biopsy. Most agree that a thickness of 1 cm or 10 mm is classified as "thickened." Especially in older women, a thickened endometrium may suggest cancer, but most often non-cancerous causes explain it: normal hormonal changes, obesity, diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome. Is LVPW thickening 24.3% normal. How is this interpreted on an echo?

Complex Question.: We need to see the echocardiogram report & go over any symptoms that you might be experiencing in order to interpret the echocardiogram IN CONTEXT. (An isolated number rarely means anything). The LV Posterior Wall (LVPW) % thickening is an "M-mode" measurement that compares LVPW thickness in systole vs diastole. 24% to 80% thinning is considered to be within reference.
