Endometrial Echo Thickness 9mm
Pelvic pain. Irregular bleeding. Endometrial echo measure 12 mm in thickness. Outline of the endometrial echo is smooth. Unremarkable ovariesIs ok?
An echocardiogram (also called an echo) is a type of ultrasound test that uses high-pitched sound waves that are sent through a device called a transducer. The device picks up echoes of the sound waves as they bounce off the different parts of your heart. These echoes are turned into moving pictures of your heart that can be seen ...Read more
Fm 49 trans-vaginal ultrasound dec 2012 gave endometrium thickness 9mm, on march 2013 it says endometrial thickness 14mm. Irregular periods from2month?
See an OB/GYN doctor: In general, gradual thickening of the lining of the uterus (the endometrium) is abnormal. Now, during our menstrual cycle, the lining thickens and sheds off with each period. Progressive thickening might mean abnormalities in the ovary hormones, so that you don't have a normal "shedding, " or possibly a disease that allows overgrowth -- like benign "hyperplasia, " or rarely, a cancer. Good luck! ...Read more
It's a good thing!: They are measuring the lining inside the uterus (the lining is the stuff that comes out with your period). It is 9 mm's wide, which is normal for someone your age. There are 2 layers to the lining, one from the top wall and one from the bottom wall, so that is why they call it "bilayer". ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Had a cardiac mri. Finding: mild lv cavity dilation, normal lv systolic function; lvef 62%.Trivial pericardial & pleural effusion?
Sounds pretty normal: Ef is normal, tiny effusions are nothing to worry about. Was valvular function normal - ie no stenosis or regurgitation? Also, how much dilation? Was a volume given? Would followup with a cardiologist and make sure you optimize your therapy for high blood pressure among other conditions. The lv dilation and pericardial effusions could be followed with echocardiography. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Echo: Ejection >55%, transmitral doppler suggest pseudonormalization. No wall abnorm. No stenosis seen. Mild mitral annular calc. Need clarification.
Stiff heart: Pseudonormalization refers to a pattern of flow across the mitral valve as the left ventricle fills with blood when the left ventricle is "stiff" and does not relax properly. As the term suggests it appears normal but isnt when there is elevation of pressure in the left atrium. This is known as diastolic dysfunction and commonly seen in hypertension. Especially when poorly controlled. ...Read more

I have a mod-lg pericardial effusion echo said slight hypokinesis posterior interventricular septum & inferior wall & reduced LV sys function. explain?
Get cardiac consult: The Echo findings you report -there is fluid around the heart - moderate to large in amount . The change in the motion of the heart and reduced LV function indicates the heart is not pumping normally . The result definitely warrants a consultation with a Cardiologist and some background history . You will likely need further tests ...Read more

Echo Ejection >55% transmitral pseudonorm. No wall abnorm. No stenosis. Mild mitral annular calc. Nohigh bp. High ASO titre. Poss hyperthyroid. Help!
Mitral valve: The test results here do not necessarily lead to any particular conclusion; additional information would be needed to give you advice. Think about a consultation with a cardiologist here on HealthTap or in the office. The ASO is a test indicating a prior Strep infection. While late complications from Strep infections can affect the heart (rheumatic disease), it does not sound like you have that. ...Read more

Ultrasound findings , abnormal bleeding for 5 weeks..Endometrium thickness was 0.7cm uterus is diffusley heterogeneous calcifications both ovaries?
Dysfunctional Bleed: Abnormal bleeding could be caused by an endometrial abnormality such as a polyp or tumor. A hysterosonogram, in which saline is instilled into the uterine cavity during ultrasound may provide more information. An endometrial biopsy will likely be needed to better define the problem. Irregular bleeding may also be experienced in the perimenopausal period. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Mri pelvic report :small csection scar along anterior uterine body, lobular abnormal thickening of junctional zone upto 12mm in keeping adenomyosis-
Adenomyosis: Adenomyosis is when the blood lining of the endometrium invades the muscle of the uterus. It can cause the uterus to become enlarged, boggy, and painful. It is also associated with heavy abnormal bleeding. Endomteriosis with when that same lining travels to other places in the body. The MRI description could describe both of these. ...Read more
Took an echo that showed normal lv size with concentric remodeling. Normal functioning valves. However my ecg shows potential lvh?
Congruent findings: If ECG mentions possible or potential LVH and then echocardiogram shows "concentric remodeling", probably "concentric LVH", these findings make sense. ECG is not the modality to diagnose LVH, echocardiogram is. Last if these are your findings, treat the underlying cause which is high blood pressure, to prevent long term risk of hypertensive heart disease. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
