Work w/ your doctor: You need to work with a doctor on this. It is not easy to find one to do this anymore, but possible. I have one. My doctor has my pattern taper daily down from 30mg/day to 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, 5, 0, 5... You may be different. This week lasts at least a month - maybe more. I often need it in winter. ...Read more

Be patient: Your endodontist is probably right in suggesting patience as it is nearing time, more than a week, to start seeing improvement in pain and swelling with the medications you are on. I would say wait until Monday for a reassessment by your endodontist for any complication. ...Read more
