Yes and No: It all depends on your symptoms. The diagnosis of Hormone producing endocrine tumors, requires several criteria including History/symptoms suggestive of a known entity (like carcinoid syndrome), clinical signs and physical findings to suggest a tumor and then an imaging test like an X-ray, Ct scan or MRI. Blood tests are sometimes helpful but only if the tumor is Hormone producing(functional). ...Read more
