40mg Ritalin in morning.Had migraine so 2advils & 2 paracetamols. Then 8mgzofran for nausea.A few hrs later again 8mg Zofran (ondansetron). Feel very sick. Overdose?
Describe sick.: Is migraine your diagnosis or professional's.? You were sick before you took all meds except Ritalin (methylphenidate). Did your headache get worse or your nausea? Your resistance to pain relief can suggest tolerance. Unless other meds or substances are involved you are at higher risk for drug-drug interactions than OD. If your symptoms persist or worsen consider a visit to your ER or urgent care. ...Read more
Bad bladder infect. (Bactrim) headache excruciating pain lightheaded fever chills/shaking no appetite Tylenol (acetaminophen) hurts ulcers no energy. Nauseabed 2 days?
Be careful: If you aren't feeling better soon after taking the bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) seek a re-evaluation. It's possible that the urinary tract infection is caused by a bacteria resistant to Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) or worse that the bacteria has gotten into your blood stream. Again, have a low threshold to seek a re-evaluation, even if that means having to go to the ER. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
There aren't any: Let me explain - "Cet or cette" at the end of medications means it contains acetaminophen or tylenol. The active opiate in the medication is Oxycodone, and oxycodone comes without tylenol in both brand-name and generic versions, including Roxicet, which comes in 5, 10, 15 and 30 mg strengths. It also comes in sustained release long-acting versions in doses ranging from 10mg - 80 mg. ...Read more

Gastroenteritis?: Most cases of viral gastroenteritis are mild, self-limited, and not life threatening. These resolve on their own with supportive care (drink fluids to prevent dehydration, eat moderately as tolerated, as needed analgesia). In special cases (newborns, elderly, debilitated) hospitalization may be required to provide IV fluids and to support co-morbid medical conditions. ...Read more

Began nov 20th: headache fatigue. 21st nausea vomiting headache dizziness body aches and hallucination last night. Today nausea headache and diarrhea.?
Maybe you see doc 1t: Yes, you can take zofran (ondansetron) if you 100% sure it is gastroenteritis! however, nausea and vomiting could be the symptoms of other conditions (for example, cholecystitis, appendicitis, small bowel obstruction), and in these cases zofran (ondansetron) could be harmful or could mask very dangerous surgical cases. Don't hesitate to go see the real doc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I take hydrocodone, cyclobenzaprine, amitriptyline, xanax, (alprazolam) and cymbalta. Xanax (alprazolam) as needed, cymbalta brand new - causing nausea. Can I take ondansetron?
Wouldn't recommend: you are already on several drugs which inhibit serotonin reuptake, increasing their levels - amitriptylene, Cymbalta (duloxetine) and cyclobenzaprine all have that potential, and ondansetron does it big time. This can result in the serotonin syndrome which is dangerous and even potentially fatal. All of these drugs also produce sedation. I would talk with your provider and pharmacist about safety of this. ...Read more

It's possible, yes: Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is a hydrocodone/acetaminophen combination. The hydrocodone is the opiate portion which metabolizes into morphine in the body. Both compounds (hydrocodone and morphine) are known to cause histamine release from cells that reside in your skin, called mast cells. They are also responsible for allergic reactions that cause skin itching and redness. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Flu or pregnant? Cramping, bloating, back pain, extreme nausea, vomiting, really tired, shortness of breath, restlessness and fever-ish w/ no fever.
After took panadol (acetaminophen) cold and flu (paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride), can I take actifed afterwards (triprolidine hydrochloride, pseudoephedrine?
No: You shouldn't use both at the same time. If you want to switch from one to the other, wait until it is time for your next dose of the panadol, (acetaminophen) but then take the actifed instead. They are different medicines, but act in almost exactly the same fashion, so taking them together will result in too high a dose. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
3 days post hernia surgery. Took Percocet last 3 days. Still pain. No Percocet left. Took Naproxen EC 500mg and Tylenol (acetaminophen) 1000mg 4 hrs ago. Advil now?
Call your doctor : You are already maxed up on the analgesics, adding advil while you had naproxen 500 mg 4 hours ago isn't a good idea and would cause problems to your stomach/kidneys. Tylenol (acetaminophen) may be better, but it didn't help you to start with, you can still try it again, but call your doctor or go to urgent care or ER if no improvement, good luck ...Read more
Black stools, Xanax, extended ibuprofen use, AS, chills and sweats, fainting feeling, no fever, nausea, anything match all of these symptoms?
NOT good if melena: Dark-colored stools may result from iron supplements, foods you eat (like a lot of spinach), substances (like peptobismol), but most significantly suggests bleeding. When blood is denatured by acid in your stomach, as from ulcers, stools will turn tarry ("melena"). Blood may also be ingested from nose bleeds, bleeding gums. Stop ibuprofen (can cause bleeding ulcers) & call doctor now 4 evaluation. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Yes: Endocet is one major brand of a combination product with oxycodone and tylenol (acetaminophen). There are many such brands, and not every pharmacy may carry all of them. They are essentially equivalent, and unless the doctor checks a box that you can only get the brand written for, the pharmacy may exchange another equivalent product for it. Most pharmacies will carry 3 or 4 of the major brands of these drugs. ...Read more

Depends: If it is one time use - a single dose - it is unlikely to be detected for more than 24-36 hours. If taken regularly for some period of time, it can be detected for 3-4 days, rarely 5. I need some help with pain during my football games. I was wondering how long the endocet would stay in my system?
Variable: Endocet is a particular brand of oxycodone, and it comes in different strengths. From what I see in my area (near Providence RI), the 5 mg strength costs about 50 cents per tablet (5 mg oxycodone/325mg tylenol), while the the 10 mg strength (also with 325mg tylenol) costs about a dollar a tablet. There may be other generic forms that cost less, and chains may have $4 generic prescriptions. ...Read more
Many days: If you are a football player (and 41 is a tad old for that), and you are being drug-tested, hydrocodone will stay in urine for 2-3 days, depending on how much you took how often for how long. It can be as much as 5 days with higher doses and more sensitive testing. If you are using it by prescription, testing shouldn't matter. If not, STOP and get help stopping if you need it. ...Read more

Is normal for a doctor to perscribe oxycotin for fibermelnelga my family physician gave me eifht twenty mg per day and six endocet per day plus two two mg ativan (lorazepam)?
No: Opioids are not the treatment of choice for fibromyalgia. Plus the combination you were given could increase the risk of accidental overdose and death. Benzodiazepines (ativan (lorazepam) and others) plus oxycodone (which is in Oxycontin and endocet) have additive effects that might cause slowed breathing and possible death. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
