I think I might have lupus and I'm pretty sure a flare just ended. Should I wait to go to the doctor until next flare up? Flares have lupus symptoms.

Lupus Flare: Lupus flares are diagnosed based on symptoms. Labs sometimes help... But often they do not. Finding new markers of a lupus flare is an area of active research now. Therefore your doctor put you on Methotrexate because they thought your symptoms were from a flare (autoimmune), despite the normal labs. ...Read more

Doctors thinking lupus, still undiagnosed. Took Medrol (methylprednisolone) pack, symptoms got better. Finished pills, numbness spreading and new pains. Why? Normal?

Dxd w/ MS in 2010, tried avonex (interferon beta 1a) & copaxone but it was stopped b/c bad reactions. Same thing w/ plaquinil for my lupus work up. What could do that?

OK, let's sort out.: Do you really have ms or do you have lupus, which can mimic, or do you have both? You need an experienced expert at a good medical school to sort this out. Once all is clarified and confirmed, and indeed if you have ms, do not use the old washed out drugs; rather, consider one of the orals or tysabri (natalizumab).
