Emetrol For Nausea
Vomiting all day even water won't stay down drank a little citucell that stayed down. Pharmacist recommended emetrol. Some nausea last 3 days?

Find cause of nausea: Nausea may be gi-related (food poisoning, peptic disease, gastroparesis, due to biliary & pancreatic disease, gas/bloat syndrome, small bowel problems). Consider "central" causes: motion sickness, vertigo, migraine headache, brain problems (some very serious). Also, rule out infection (? CAN'T BE SURE: Emetrol is a phospholated carbohydrate solution and should be safe, but the only answer is that we can't be sure. It has never been tested in pregnant women and really can't be for ethical reasons. However, there really is not anything in it that would potentially cause problems in the first trimester. 6th wk of pregnancy, severe nausea nd weakness, tried emetrol, didnt work at all, taking multivitamins but still on bed all the time, plz help plz?
Multiple measures: You may use vitamin B6, Ginger Ale, Avoiding food that trigger nausea and see if those measures help. If persistant symptoms, try Reglan or Phenergan (promethazine).
