Doctor insights on:
Thank you to dr bennett warner. For re laying to my sickness just for last time last monday I did heart cath is clear forth one in 10 years sir?
Not sure of your?: I'm not certain what you're asking but if you're asking if a normal heart cath means that you will be normal for the next 10 years, it does not. A heart cath should not be mistaken for a crystal ball. No one can predict the future. If your cath is completely normal tho, at 43, you must be living a healthy lifestyle and that bodes well for the future. Best of luck! ...Read more

Dr. Bennett; What type of malignancy did you have in mind, that causes (different than before) body odor under one armpit, please?
None: There is NO malignancy that would cause an odor in only one armpit. Odors here are from bacteria that live on the skin, mixing with sweat from the glands surrounding the hairs. The sweat odor can be affected by emotion, but not in only one pit! Keep very clean, wipe the pits with alcohol if you like, let dry then follow with a good deodorant containing aluminum chlorhydrate. Good luck! ...Read more

Hello Dr Bennett, I have experienced hardening of the bladder wall after chemo and radio treatment for stage 4 bladder cancer, will this condition go?

If lesion too advanced primary lesion therapy may be relegated to local RT chemo for control of symptoms. ...Read more

Lft normal, HBV DNA 13 iu/ml and HBsAG (eliza test) austrailian antigen comes 1.36 (decreasing per yr) in how long can I be relieved of hepatitis b?
Depends: You are young and without knowing more information, hard to say. However, some can clear hepatitis b on their own, while most people have a lifelong chronic hepatitis b state that can be "active" or "inactive". ECLIA is a screening: Test for serious infection in newborns (especially premies). You may be confusing this test with ELISA, a screening test for HIV. If you are infected with HIV, the test is almost always (+) by 8 weeks. If your test is (-) @ 8 wks but you have risk factors for (or symptoms consistent with) HIV, a repeat test can been done @ 12 & 24 weeks. Hope this clears up the confusion. Dr. Anne. ...Read more
