Doctor insights on:
Depends - 1-30 Days: It can depend on a number of factors. For occasional users, thc can be detected from 1-2 days or up to a week. In chronic or heavy users, thc can be detected for 30 days, possibly longer.
Can't, really: There are many products on the internet which purport to flush thc and other drugs more quickly than your body would naturally do it. But there is no reliable product to do that. Thc is stored in fat. Depending on how often you use it, it can show up in urine for 30 days or more, and in hair for 90 days. If you're facing a drug test, best to stay clean -- that's best for your health also.See 1 more doctor answer
Yes: These are available as a prescription item for physicians having the federal license to prescribe controlled substances. They are sold under the brand name marinol, usually for side effects of cancer chemotherapy and advanced cancer. The effect is generally considerably different than smoked marijuana.
For testing purposes: Single use of marijuana should be out of your urine in 1 to 7 days. Regular use of marijuana – should be out of urine in 7 to 100 days. Single use marijuana can be detected 12 to 24 hours in blood. Regular use marijuana can be detected for 2 to 7 days in blood.Marijuana regular use detected in hair for months. Single use might not be picked up in hair.
Weeks: Thc, the active drug in marijuana, is fat-soluble, which means it lingers in the body a long time — especially in trace amounts that can be detected on drug-testing. Depending on the type of drug test, it can be detected for many weeks. There's also no "antidote" to sober up from thc fast, if that's what you're asking. Best not to put it in your system to start with, if you need it to be out.See 1 more doctor answer
Depends on what you: mean by 'system.' That is really not a medical word, and in many ways is meaningless. I suspect you are asking how long it shows up in a drug test, and that is a totally separate question. THC is very short-acting and lasts a couple hours in blood, which is why the high from single use lasts a couple-three hours in most people. The metabolite, however, lasts for days, but is not psychoactive.
It depends: Thc stays in your system longer if you use regularly, than in a one time use. (the latter is probably rare, though.) in daily users, thc is detectable in urine for 49-90 days -- and in hair for at least 90 days too.
