No need to: If you were dehydrated your albumin may seem high, even though yours is at the upper end of normal. If the tourniquet is left on for too long, it may cause a spurious high reading. To some degree, it really depends on what kind of cancer, how long ago it was treated, how it was treated, and what you other medical problems are. Edema can be due to heart problems, kidney problems, or blood clots. Sometimes edema can be treated with salt/fluid restriction, or changing medications. ...Read more
