Size of the cuff, manometer height compared to heart level, experience of the taker, in case of a machine - quality of the machine etc. Normally the pressure in the legs is higher than the arms. My mother (86)has a hiatal hernia. The top of her bed is elevated one and a half feet to prevent reflux. However, she slips on the slope. Any answer?
