Selective mutism, i've done hypnotherapy/ psychotherapy and no results. I'd like an opinion on shamanic psychotherapy, it's my last resort.
Last resort???: I'm concerned how you came to the conclusion that "shamanic therapy" is a "last resort." it's not a generally accepted treatment, and not supported by research. I don't know what kind of psychotherapy you've had or the credentials of the people you've seen, but there are many, many forms of psychotherapy and types of therapists. This likely is: An attainable goal. A weight loss of 2 pounds per week would get you to 24 lbs. To lose weight insure that calories burned > calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water per day. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables ; 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid sodas, alcohol ; junk carbohydrates.
