F 50. Recent trouble remembering things, stiffness in thumb, and painless electric shock sensation through back of leg to foot. Thoughts?
Not sure all: are connected. Painful muscle spasms in the leg and parasthesias could be due to spinal cord problems. Recent memory problems could be related if you had a condition like MS that involved the spinal cord and brain. The thumb stiffness is difficult to comment on. Could be due to problem in the thumb or issue further upstream (brain, cord or nerve) A neurologist might be of further help. ...Read more

'dead arm'(MDI): At your age that feeling u had sounds like'dead arm syndrome'.Basically, your shoulder joint can partially slip out of place (subluxate) and it can feel like it is'hanging there' and sometimes feel like your whole arm goes dead for a brief period of time, then it reduces and feels 'normal'.This is fairly common in' loose-jointed' females.I would reccommend seeing an ors for evaluation of 'mdi'. ...Read more

I think I popped my shoulder whilst biking. I was just a tiny little bump. 3 months on i'm still feeling pain should it really take this long to heal?
3 months seems long: A shoulder injury from biking should be evaluated by a sports medicine doctor or an orthopedic doctor if the injury does not heal up quickly. Perhaps a ligament (holding 2 bones together) was damaged. Sometimes there is impingement, where a ligament or bone is pressing on another ligament or muscle. After initial treatment, physical therapy for a few weeks should help regain normal mobility. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
