May be pinched nerve: Two strong possibilities: 1) pinched nerve of the the low back 2) hip osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis of the hip is a result of wear & tear. This can be diagnosed by x-ray. Celebrex is an anti-inflammatory med & could help. The electric shock sensation could be a radiculopathy, aka "pinched nerve" in, or "sciatica."
