Dr. Parvez Fatteh answered:

Hip joint of 1 leg painful n inflamed after riding bike. Electric shock sensation down leg when doing certain yoga poses. Why? Will Celebrex help?

May be pinched nerve

Yoga
Two strong possibilities: 1) Pinched nerve of the the low back 2) Hip osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis of the hip is a result of wear & tear. This can be diagnosed by x-ray. Celebrex is an anti-inflammatory med & could help. The electric shock sensation could be a radiculopathy, aka "pinched nerve" in, or "sciatica." Celebrex could help, as could physical therapy, or an epidural steroid injection.

My wife had a spinal tap procedure done now she has electric shocks running down her legs and throughout her body what should we do?

Spinal tap

Not uncommon to get some back pain following lumbar puncture. Tingling a bit less common and should be discussed with her doctor. If there is any weakness or changes in bladder ot bowel function this wiuld need more urgent attention to look for hematoma at site of procedure.

whether from back ( from pressure on nerve from a herniated disc for example) or from spastic muscle in buttock putting pressure on the nerve, should help to take an anti-inflammatory medicine like ibuprofen if you don't have kidney problems or allergic. Look piriformis muscle stretches and strengthen abdomen and back muscles as part of a back program with physical therapy good place to start.

Bad headaches upn waking, sweating, pain behind eyes, neck pain, have EDS type 3, but no tumour or bleed. Have hd electric shock pains in limbs? Why?

See your general doc

Neck_pain
Not knowing your age, and in what order these problems began, it is not easy to tie them together into a syndrome or single disease or problem. Neck pain can be due to muscle spasm, which is reported to give rise to eye pain and headaches. This would not explain your leg pains. Something pressing on your spinal cord, such as an infection, or abscess could account for the whole picture.

Dr. Calvin Ma answered:

I'm being tested for MS,I have all the symptoms, heavy limbs, shaky hands, electric shock down neck & hands etc,but MRI is clear, could it still be MS?

Yes

Multiple_sclerosis
A negative MRI brain does not exclude MS. Some patients may have MRI-invisible lesions or normal appearing white matter requiring advanced MRI imaging techniques such as MR spectroscopy, magnetization transfer, etc. for detection. A lumbar puncture may also help in the workup for MS. However, there are many other conditions that may mimic MS. Please see or discuss with your neurologist.
