I was diagnosed with hydrocele that is 84mm by 124mm and was wondering if it can cause problems ejaculation force and quantity?

Had hydrocele op 8 yrs. Ago, and have pain on-off. Got antibio. For epidi., which isn't helping. Is recurring pain yrs post op normal? Other possibil.?
Pain post -op: * years post op would be relatively long for any probable "Post-Op" pain. However with your history of testicular issues in the past, it seems you are more prone to problems in the genital area. Hydrocele surgery: Is very safe & associated with minimal risks. Your urologist should certainly go over risks & list them on surgical consent form. Some post-operative pain is normal & treatable with pain meds. V. slight anesthetic risk. Slight risk of bleeding, infection or reaction to suture material. Scrotal swelling. Scrotal incision: Surgery best performed under general anesthesia ; as same day surgery procedure so ur discharged home from recovery room (pacu) after operation. Will have scrotal scar which becomes almost invisible with time. Some pain, tenderness ; swelling for couple of weeks post-op. Not before puberty: Damage to spermatic cords is unlikely if surgery was performed by surgical expert, especially if s/he is pediatric urologist or surgeon. U could review the operation report to see if note made of cuting vas during surgery. Or check pathology report of hydrocele specimen if it was sent for? Portion of vas. In theory....it should heal up just fine. Your surgeon likely gave you post-op instructions and they should be followed!

Not immediately: Best to wait a few days & then shower rather than bathe. However, if u really feel need to shower then wrap a large plastic garbage bag around your waist like a skirt. Better off not: How much alcohol are we talking about? If "social" drinking - one or two literally - then it should not make a difference. However, alcohol impairs both healing and blood clotting, and if you are also taking Ibuprofen increases the chance of stomach or upper intestinal inflammation as well.
