Effexor Xr 375 Mg
Does Effexor (venlafaxine) XR make Concerta less effective? I take 112.5 mg and 108 mg, respectively.
Very different meds: Effexor (venlafaxine) xr works on serotonin and ne reuptake; wellbutrin xl works on ne and dopamine. Both are long-acting, and both work for depression. Effexor (venlafaxine) can help anxiety + depression; wellbutrin does nothing for anxiety. With wellbutrin the main dangerous side effect can be seizures; with Effexor (venlafaxine) it's possible hypertension. Sexual side effects with effexor; not so with wellbutrin. This isn't all! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I was prescribed Prozac 40 mg, Ritalin 10 mg, Concerta 108 mg, Remeron 30 mg and Risperdal 3 mg. Is this number of drugs safe?
Depends...: on what you and your doctor decide together. There are theoretically some interactions among the drugs you've listed, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you will experience them. It's difficult to know all of the possible interactions when you have this many medications in combination. Some of the drugs' metabolism could be affected or you may have increased risk of side effects. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
It depends.: Some people may be very sensitive to low doses of meds, especially if you have liver disease or your liver enzymes are slow metabolizers of drugs. You could develop serotonin syndrome w/ low doses of Lexapro (escitalopram) & tramadol. Let your doctor know if you experience nausea, flushing, diarrhea, headaches, profuse sweating, muscle twitching, rigidity, confusion, hallucinations or seizures. ...Read more
I take these: valsartan(320 mg), amlodipine(10 mg), seroquel(100 mg), concerta(54 mg), depakote(500 mg), paxil(40mg), bupropion(300mg), and Nexium (esomeprazole) (40 mg). Can this combo cause severe low bp? Help.
Potentially yes: If you are getting lightheaded or dizzy from this combination you should contact your prescribing physicians or go to the er to have your medication adjusted so that you do not pass out. Stay well hydrated. It is possible for these medications to lower your blood pressure. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Effexor (venlafaxine) 225mg hs, Neurontin 200mg bid, lisinopril 5mg ac, Prilosec 20mg ac, hydroxyzine 50mg hs, ativan .5 mg prn, too many rx's daily- liver damage?
Probably Not: Especially for someone who is young. Neurontin (gabapentin) doesn't even get metabolized by the liver. That being said, it makes sense to monitor you liver w/regular lab-work & to ask yourself if exercise, nutrition, & meditation can help your symptoms & reduce your pill burden. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is it safe to reduce 450mg Effexor (venlafaxine) xr; 200mg lamictal (all at once daily) to 300 Effexor (venlafaxine) (150mg b.I.D., 8am and noon); 100mg lamictal (2 pm)?
Take Buspar (buspirone) 7.5 mg 2x daily. 10 mg ramipril am, 12.5 mg metoperlol, 10 mg Lexapro at bedtime. Pulse rate slow 52 -59 bpm. Not athletic. Concerning?
I've been taking Effexor (venlafaxine) XR at bedtime along with seroquel & klnoplin for a week. Ok to switch Effexor (venlafaxine) to am. I've heard Effexor (venlafaxine) causes insomnia ?
Currently tapering off 37.5 mg Effexor (venlafaxine) XR and my heart is pounding. Taking 20 mg propranolol 2x day isn't helping. Is it safe to increase propranolol?
I'm taking 200mg Wellbutrin, 100mg Zoloft, 60mg Cymbalta & 50mg Nortryptiline. Also 1mg Xanax (alprazolam) x 3 and 10mg Oxycodone x6. Still depressed & anxious.
