Are there any long lasting side effects to an overdose of Divalproex (depakote) or Venlafaxine (effexor)? Provided that death does not occur.

Prozac & Effexor (venlafaxine): Prozac & Effexor (venlafaxine) are both antidepressants, but work a little differently. Also if only on day 2 of Prozac it's too early to know if it will help your depression symptoms. Neither will eliminate grief, but psychotherapy can help you work through it. They don't actually do controlled trials of overdoses in humans. Therefore the experience is based only on those who try suicide and they are not a reliable group.
